jersey kitty rescue network is a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue in san diego, ca. we pull cats from full shelters, get them healthy, and match them with the people they're meant to grow old with. no big building. no fancy budget. just a network of warm laps.

jersey kitty started one living room in new jersey and quicky grew into a multi home foster network with 501(c)3 status. nowadays you can find athina fostering independly out in san diego, ca on a smaller scale
foster-based, on purpose.
every cat in our care lives in a real home with a real human, usually on a real couch, occasionally on top of a real laptop. that means we know each cat's personality before they're adopted, and you do too. we focus on the cats who get overlooked: sick or shy kitties, bonded pairs, and the ones with a missing eye and bigger feelings. they're often the best cats in the room, they just need someone who knows.
